У навчально-методичному посібнику викладено основні теоретичні питання сучасної концепції прав людини в європейському праворозумінні: подано інтерпретацію прав людини в історії людства, розкрито основи сучасної концепції прав людини, виділено універсальні міжнародно-правові стандарти прав людини та їх нормативне забезпечення; досліджено аспекти захисту прав людини в діяльності ООН та європейська система захисту прав людини; піднято питання заборони катувань, нелюдських або таких, що принижують гідність, видів поводження чи покарання; окремо розкрито порядок звернення в Європейський суд з прав людини та концепцію прав людини в праві Європейського Союзу. The educational and methodical guide outlines the main theoretical issues of the modern concept of human rights in European legal understanding: the interpretation of human rights in the history of mankind is presented, the foundations of the modern concept of human rights are revealed, universal international legal standards of human rights and their regulatory support are highlighted; aspects of the protection of human rights in the activities of the UN and the European system of human rights protection were investigated; the issue of the prohibition of torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment was raised; the procedure for applying to the European Court of Human Rights and the concept of human rights in the law of the European Union are separately disclosed. It is important to consider the issue of interpretation of European human rights law in Ukraine.
