Дискримінація за ознакою зовнішності

Abstract

У статті розглянуто поняття «лукізм» та зміст дискримінації за ознакою зовнішнього вигляду. Наведені приклади законодавчого регулювання заборони дискримінації за зовнішністю у Сполучених Штатах Америки, Австралії та деяких європейських країнах. Проаналізована практика Європейського суду з прав людини в аспекті захисту права на індивідуальну ідентичність.The article considers the concept of “Lukism” and the content of appearance discrimination. Examples of legislative regulation of the prohibition of discrimination in appearance in the USA, Australia and some European countries are given. The practice of the European Court of Human Rights in the aspect of protecting the right to an individual identity is analyzed.
