Abstract
Стаття присвячена зображенню мовних засобів ґендерної ідентифікації зоонімів в авторських казках О. Уальда. У галузі фауни ґендерна ідентифікація або відбувається згідно з фольклорною традицією країни, або вибір ґендерного маркера визначається конкретними творчими завданнями письменника й загальної системи образів, яку він вибудовує.
The article highlights language means of gender identification of zoonyms which can be illustrated on the basis of the examples found in the texts of English fairy-tales of O. Wilde. In the field of fauna gender identification occurs either in accordance with the folk tradition of the country, or the choice of the gender marker is determined by the specific creative targets and the unique image system, produced by the great writer.
