Синестезійність як один із принципів архітектоніки англомовного креативного дискурсу

Abstract

У статті розглянуто актуальну наукову проблему використання креативного потенціалу синестезії в англомовному дискурсі. Показано, що феномен синестезії сприяє кращому сприйняттю цілісності художнього світу, створеного адресантом, й істотно збільшує інтерпретативні стратегії адресата. Дослідження виконано на матеріалі оповідання Вірджинії Вульф "The String Quartet".The current scientific problem of using the creative potential of synaesthesia in the English discourse is considered in the article. It is shown that the phenomenon of synaesthesia contributes to a better perception of the integrity of the artistic world created by the addressee and substantially increases the recipient’s interpretative strategies. The study is based on the story "The String Quartet" by Virginia Woolf.
