Abstract

Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено аналізу невербальної комунікації як засобу подолання мовного бар’єра під час вивчення англійської мови у полікультурному середовищі. Невербальна комунікація розглядається як система знаків і сигналів, що охоплює оптичні, акустичні, тактильно-кінестетичні, ольфакторні та темпоральні засоби та сприяє регуляції міжкультурної взаємодії в освітньому процесі. Метою дослідження є визначення ролі й функціонального потенціалу невербальних засобів у подоланні мовних труднощів студентів та їхнього впливу на ефективність англомовної комунікації. Методологія ґрунтується на аналізі наукових джерел, когнітивно-дискурсивному підході, спостереженні, анкетуванні, інтерпретаційно-контекстуальному аналізі та елементах педагогічного експерименту. Застосування цих методів дозволило визначити структуру невербальної поведінки студентів, ключові комунікативні стратегії та їхню дієвість у міжкультурних ситуаціях. У роботі виокремлено основні групи невербальних засобів, що сприяють подоланню мовного бар’єра, та проаналізовано їхні функції. Узагальнені результати анкетування підтверджують важливість жестів, міміки, зорового контакту, просодичних елементів і просторової організації комунікації. Доведено, що невербальні сигнали відіграють ключову роль у формуванні ефективної міжкультурної взаємодії, сприяючи адаптації та взаєморозумінню студентів. Перспективи подальших досліджень пов’язані з порівняльним аналізом невербальних стратегій різних культурних груп та впливом цифрових форматів навчання на характер невербальних проявів.

The qualification work is devoted to the analysis of non-verbal communication as a means of overcoming the language barrier when studying English in a multicultural environment. Non-verbal communication is considered as a system of signs and signals that includes optical, acoustic, tactile-kinesthetic, olfactory and temporal means and contributes to the regulation of intercultural interaction in the educational process. The aim of the study is to determine the role and functional potential of non-verbal means in overcoming students' language difficulties and their impact on the effectiveness of English-language communication. The methodology is based on the analysis of scientific sources, a cognitive-discursive approach, observation, questioning, interpretative-contextual analysis and elements of pedagogical experimentation. The application of these methods made it possible to determine the structure of students' non-verbal behaviour, key communication strategies and their effectiveness in intercultural situations. The work highlights the main groups of non-verbal means that help overcome the language barrier and analyses their functions. The generalised results of the survey confirm the importance of gestures, facial expressions, eye contact, prosodic elements, and the spatial organisation of communication. It has been proven that non-verbal signals play a key role in the formation of effective intercultural interaction, contributing to the adaptation and mutual understanding of students. Prospects for further research are related to the comparative analysis of non-verbal strategies of different cultural groups and the influence of digital learning formats on the nature of non-verbal manifestations.
