Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню особливостей вербалізаціі концепту GENІUS в англійській мові та мовленні. У роботі наведені основні аспекти дослідження феномена геніальності у філософіі та психологіі, проаналізовані дефініціі лексичноі одиниці genius в англомовних словниках, виокремлені головні ознаки досліджуваного концепту в науково-популярних біографіях Ісаака Ньютона.The article is dedicated to the investigation of the peculiarities of verbalization of the concept GENІUS in the English language and speech. The research presents тain aspects of the study of the phenoтenon of genius in philosophy and psychology; analyzes definitions of the lexical unit "genius" in the English dictionaries; singles out conceptual features of the analyzed concept in the popular-science biographies of Іsaac Newton.
