Боротьба західних країн з міжнародним тероризмом після 11 вересня 2001 р.

Abstract

Стаття присвячена розгляду еволюції міжнародного тероризму після гучних актів 11 вересня 2001 р. та контртерористічній діяльності західних країн, насамперед, США. Головна увага зосереджується на діяльності Аль-Каїди та Ісламської Держави, ступені підтримки їх з боку пересічних мусульман, зв’язку нелегальної міграції та міжнародного тероризму на європейському континенті, феномені іноземних бійців, що пройшли вишкіл у Сирії і Іраку. Розглянуті сучасні тенденції у формах, методах діяльності терористів на європейському континенті, здійснено компаративний аналіз терористичних актів у країнах ЄС. Значна увага приділена взаємозв’язку тероризму з новими міграційними процесами з країн Близького Сходу та Північної Африки до Європи. Підкреслюється загроза розповсюдження терористичної активності через гібридну війну на сході України, що ведуть сепаратисти за підтримки Російської Федерації.The article is devoted to the consideration of the evolution of international terrorism after the high-profile acts of September 11, 2001 and the counterterrorism activity of Western countries, primarily the United States. The focus is on Al-Qa’ida and the Islamic State, the extent of their support from ordinary Muslims, the link between illegal migration and international terrorism on the European continent, the phenomenon of foreign fighters trained in Syria and Iraq. The current trends in the forms and methods of terrorist activities on the European continent are considered, and a comparative analysis of terrorist acts in the EU countries is carried out. Considerable attention is paid to the relationship of terrorism with the new migration processes from the countries of the Middle East and North Africa to Europe. The threat of the spread of terrorist activity through the hybrid war in the east of Ukraine, which leads separatists with the support of the Russian Federation, is underlined.
