Abstract
The article analyzes the theory of separation of powers and its correlation
with the development of democracy. The author shows the general contents and
applicability of the theory of separation of powers in a context the democratic state
genesis, investigates formal and material ways of interpretation of the separation
of powers idea, defi nes the basic problems, which arise in a context of practical
realization of this theory.
