Abstract
The key concept of semiotics of law – "legal sign" is analysed in the article.
An author conducts the comprehensive analysis of "legal sign", gives the
unfolded description of his component parts. Two basic approaches in deter-
mination and description of sign of F. Saussure and Ch. Peirce are analysed.
On practical examples the delimitation of such constituents of legal sign as
signifi er and signifi ed, representamen, object and interpretent, subject and
semantic sense is made.
