Німецько-американське співробітництво в 90-х роках XX століття на тлі євроінтеграційного процесу

Abstract

У статті розглядається питання німецько-американського співробітництва в 90-х роках XX століття. Зокрема, приділяється увага позиції США в питанні об’єднання Німеччини, а також співробітництву американських дипломатів із ФРН у цьому питанні. У статті аналізуються дії ФРН у зовнішній політиці після об’єднання та реакція на них у політичних колах Америки. Підкреслюється, що спільні дії США та ФРН у вирішенні конфлікту в Югославії, співробітництво двох країн після розпаду Радянського Союзу та Організації Варшавського договору, зовнішньополітична активність Німеччини в країнах Центрально-Східної Європи стали одними з найважливіших чинників зростання геополітичної ваги ФРН на світовій політичній карті. Також у статті розглядається питання зростання зовнішньополітичного авторитету ФРН на тлі процесу європейської інтеграції та певного сприяння цьому процесу з боку США. У цьому контексті наводиться роль Німеччини в урегулюванні конфлікту на теренах колишньої Югославії.

The article deals with the issue of German-American cooperation in the 90s of the XX century. In particular, attention is paid to the position of the USA in the issue of the unification of Germany, as well as the cooperation of American diplomats with Germany. In the article analyzes the actions in foreign policy of the FRG after unification and reaction of the American politicians to them. It is emphasized that the joint actions of the USA and Germany in resolving the conflict in Yugoslavia, the cooperation of the two countries after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Treaty Organization, Germany’s foreign policy activity in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe have become one of the most important factors in the growth of the geopolitical role of the FRG on the world political map. In the article examines the issue of increasing the FRG foreign policy authority against the backdrop of the process of European integration and certain assistance to this process by the USA. In this ontext, Germany’s role in resolving the conflict in the former Yugoslavia is cited.
