Аналіз релевантності пошукової видачі наукометричних баз даних

Abstract

Виконання наукових досліджень відкриває нові можливості пошуку наукової інформації з застосуванням наукометричних баз даних та джерел наукової інформації у відкритому доступі. Незважаючи на постійне вдосконалення пошукових алгоритмів існують проблемні питання з формуванням релевантної пошукової видачі у наукометричних базах даних. Це обумовлює необхідність проведення аналізу впливу пошукових алгоритмів наукометричних баз даних на результати пошукової видачі наукових публікацій. Метою статті є оцінка релевантності пошукової видачі наукових публікацій наукометричних баз даних Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, ResearchGate, Google Scholar. Наукова новизна полягає у комплексному оцінюванні дослідником релевантності наукових публікацій з точки зору їх кількісних та якісних показників в процесі пошуку джерел інформації. У дослідженні застосовано метод порівняльного аналізу результатів пошукової видачі наукових публікацій для обраної групи ключових слів «complex systems», «digital systems», «artificial intelligence», «data analysis». Зафіксовані кількісні показники наукових публікацій у пошуковій видачі з обов’язковим урахуванням їх загальної кількості у наукометричних базах даних. Проведено аналіз сформованих результатів пошукової видачі наукових публікацій у зазначених наукометричних базах. Визначено найбільш релевантні наукові публікації у кожній пошуковій видачі з точки зору відповідності їх контекстуального змісту ключовим словам у пошуковому запиті. Виконано порівняльний аналіз релевантності наукових публікацій з обов’язковим урахуванням їх позицій у сформованій пошуковій видачі наукометричних баз даних. На основі отриманих результатів сформульовані практичні рекомендації дослідникам для отримання найбільш якісних результатів пошуку наукових публікацій.

Conducting scientific research opens up new opportunities for searching for scientific information using scientometric databases and open-access sources of scientific information. Despite the constant improvement of search algorithms, there are problematic issues with the formation of relevant search results in scientometric databases. This necessitates the analysis of the impact of search algorithms of scientometric databases on the results of search results of scientific publications. The purpose of the article is to assess the relevance of search results of scientific publications in scientometric databases Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, ResearchGate, Google Scholar. The scientific novelty lies in the researchers comprehensive assessment of the relevance of scientific publications from the point of view of their quantitative and qualitative indicators in the process of searching for information sources. The research used the method of comparative analysis of the results of search results of scientific publications for a selected group of keywords "complex systems","digital systems", "artificial intelligence", "data analysis". Quantitative indicators of scientific publications in the search results were recorded, taking into account their total number in scientometric databases. An analysis of the formed results of the search results of scientific publications in the indicated scientometric databases was conducted. The most relevant scientific publications in each search result were determined in terms of the correspondence of their contextual content to the keywords in the search query. A comparative analysis of the relevance of scientific publications was performed, taking into account their positions in the formed search results of scientometric databases. Based on the results obtained, practical recommendations were formulated for researchers to obtain the highest quality results of the search for scientific publications.
